Ingredients: Idli Batter ( for 3 tatte idli) Soaked chana dal( 2 handful) finely cut green chillies(3 nos) Grated ginger(½inch) Finely chopped coriander leaves(6-7 stem) Finely chopped coconut Mix all these ingredients with idli batter and steam the idli as usual.
@SCSusila It wont have any masala powders. It has the soaked chana dal with other ingredients. This is my MIL's version We love it. Try and let me know.
Wow ! You ladies are pros at this ! Is it called thatte idli because it’s made in a flat plate rather than idli moulds ? I assume you ladies make khotte ( jackfruit leaves ) and moodo ( the cylindrical leaf mound ) . Both my fav !
