Everything is 100% correct in the above reply. Marriages like this never improves. Either you live with it or leave it. Counsellors or psychiatrics won't help much. After few months it will be back to square one. My personal experience.

There are many IL users who were in bad marriages and came here for solutions. Some we saw ended in divorce. Rest I wonder where they go. Why can't they update us on their current positions ? I doubt anybody's marriage has improved. If there are, then pls come and give hope to one's in horrible marriages.

don’t be worried about finances or parents support. You have to build courage and be firm on your decision. It seems you hate him but scared to take step. Imagine if you can live with him another 40 or 50 years? You are still young and restart your life. Talk to therapist or counselor ASAP.

Bad marriages do not improve. And most problems in marriage never get sorted out. Check if you can live with the problems on a daily basis.
He will improve for few days and go back to his ways

But thats fine, i really appreciate people who gave their thoughts. Being from a family with no sisters , from the replies in the post i was able to understand other ladies feel and handle situations. Different perspectives and thoughts.

having kid will satisfy the society and relatives, but raising one in a bad marriage is worse than going through hell. and it is not fair to the kid too who has no fault.

unless both parent support, it is not easy . have a deep thought about your marriage issues first before child.
