    Hi all.. how much quantity of milk can you pump from each breast at a time.

    Hi....I get only 1ounce after a gap of 3 hours and 2 ounces after a gap of 6 hours from each breast. I feel I have less milk supply even after taking tabs. How much is a 2 month old supposed to drink for each feed.

    To all mommies out there. Happie Mother's Day.

    April. Not sure why you are getting less. Also few days in between I got less milk when I pumped. Now I'm not pumping anymore. One of the lc told me that when baby sucks milk will come effectively then when using pump.
    I have posted the same in one of my threads. How much should a two month old take.
    Im not getting any idea as to how much my son drinks.
    Sometimes he drinks from breast fr 20 mins each and then drinks 2 ounces of formula.

    Hi shruti...actually I have a boil on my left breast and doc has told me to pump milk from left breast and give it to the baby till the infection heals. I will stop pumping once it heals. I feel feeding directly is less work because the pumping , cleaning and sterilisation takes more time.

    Ahh..so true anitha! I was happily breast feeding my son but now I get exhausted sometimes with her feeding .I feel very bad for this ,but i dont know..I thought my patience would increase with the second :(. May be since we have seen everything ,doing it again is lil boring..

    Hi april

    Try Galact Granules. Even I was having less milk supply and I started having this with milk twice or thrice daily and I could easily feel the difference.. its tasty also.. in addition, I take mother holicks sometimes.. these drinks helped me.. increase your milk intake also..
