    Don't worry Uma, even my symptoms keep coming and going. Of late, I haven't been feeling nauseaous.. I know it is enough to make us scared, but trust me, everything will be just fine! Good luck for your appointment.:thumbsup

    Btw, I had my first official ob/gyn appointment today, where in basically they take in all our info and previous history. It went on well. Will be seeing my doctor in 12 weeks.

    Chitra,

    Just came back from doctor visit. Everything looks good. The baby measures 8 weeks 5 days and the heart beat is 179. I was smiling ear to ear when we saw the baby through US. Baby was moving hands and all that. It was a wonderful experience :)

    My appointment was at 11 AM and I saw the doctor only at 12.30 PM. We spent around 4 hours just for the doctor visit. I don't think it's a good idea to spend that many hours offline at the middle of the week. Doctor office has wifi. So, thinking of working from waiting room if my appointments get delayed.

    Overall, we're so happy that the baby is healthy. Thanks ladies for your encouragement. I couldn't even sleep yesterday night. US was the only thing in my dreams last night :hiya

    Glad to hear the good news...

    You know what I always schedule my doc visit at 3.30 or 4 in the eve so that I dont have to come back to work... Since we have every other friday off most of my doc appt are on that friday.

    That's good to know Chitra. My doctor has appointments only on mondays, wednesdays, and fridays. My next appointment is at 8 AM on a Friday. I'm hoping my appointment won't get delayed. Fridays are fine. I can go little late as most of my meetings will be after 10 AM.

    But today, I had to postpone my 1 PM meeting and I'm soooo tired due to Texas heat. It's not helping me. All I want to do now is sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

    No plans to do it now Chitra.. I haven't even told my parents. Today is the day to tell parents and siblings. In few hours, our families will know :)

    I'm planning to tell my manager and director around 16 weeks. Others will know only if they ask me.

    How about you? Did you inform at work? Did you inform to your families?
