I have tried the below tips and found very useful.

Baking soda comes for very cheap price but it has multiple uses....try them

While doing laundry , when we put detergent, along with the detergent put 2 or 3 spoons of baking soda depending on the load size (either it may be colored clothes or whites) after the washing and rinsing cycle, when you take them you will feel the freshness and also you would see the whites coming out whiter and colored clothes very clean...i tried it and since that time i dont forget to put baking soda while i wash the clothes.

Baking soda is a very cheap cleaning agent. try to sprinkle few drops of water and then 1 or 2 spoons of baking soda wait for few minutes and then wipe the greasy areas / counter tops with tissues or towels..you would find odorless kitchen / counter tops / even in the refrigerator you can use this to clean the fridge.

regularly we use baking soda in the idly batter / bajji batter to get the fluffyness.

Try these less costly cheap baking soda...you can get rrid of the costly cleaning liquids and also the carcinogenic chemicals.:cheers

    Hi Srividya75,
Can I add the baking soda while putting the detergent in the washer?
Once I start the washer I cannot open until the end.
