    Hi,
My neighbor in USA managed without any help from family. They did not even have a car. We stayed in an apartment opposite to hospital . They managed by finding a nanny for 2 months initially who could cook and clean . They bought baby items online and slowly it all worked out. So it is not impossible.May people do it here .So All the best .Everything will be fine.

I am reading replies here and I can see, most the ladies are managing without help and well off from those who have help. I am also in the same boat due in November, and I dont have any help here. I have help for cooking and cleaning. My only issue is I still have to continue work at home to support my family. Rest baby items I am already ready with that

What are the fruits u ate right after your delivery? In my in laws place they didn't allow me to eat any fruits until 1 month during my first pregnancy. Was very much upset with their food habits. Planning to cook by myself post delivery. Need your advice on what are the veggies we can have right after the delivery and how to cook them?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hiii preethadg
I think each region has got its own post pregnancy diet..
Not sure of fruits but currently i m having banana,apple,pomegranate,pear..
I have read somewhere not to have citrus fruits..
    Regarding vegetables... i m having ridgeguard,tindoora,bottleguard...
Preparation is almost same for ridgeguard n bottleguard..season with mustard, jeera, methi seeds, lots of garlic, curry leaves, salt n pepper...lastly we can add little milk n simmer for some more time...
Tindoora--u can make curry or fry..
I was told we can prepare raw papaya too like this n its good for milk..
I m having 2 big cups of milk too with wheat bread or rusk...
U can even make curry leaves powder or vellulikaaram n have it with ghee...in rice or idli..
    No curd..
Dnt know if this diet is helping me or not but i dnt want to take any risk...
N also ask ur parents too wats being followed in ir family...
Watever u eat make sure no spice n chillies..u can have pepper instead..
I m breastfeeding n process is going good..
    Touchwood..
    Hopefully process continues like this...
