hi marlyin, thanks for liking. coconut water is the punch thing in the recipe you will get tender coconut in veg shops ,right? if not fresh use one canned coconut water-u will get it in spinneys. regards v
spinach pakoda mix 1 cup besan with salt turmeric ,jeera powder,chilly powder ,white pepper powder to make a thick batter. dip spinach leaves one by one in batter and fry in hot oil.
mixed dosa atta-1 cup rava-1/4 cup maida -1/4 cup besan-5 spoons greenchillies -chopped ginget grated-1 piece salt turmeric - a pinch crushed curry leaves mix every thing to make a batter(dosa consistency) keep for one hour. make yummy mixed dosa . regards vidya
Hi, This recipe of aappam is of yesteryears & does not contain yeast, coconut, aval, cooked rice or coconut water. But still it comes out absolutely soft, lacy around the edges & spongy & porous in the centre.
