I think marriage is more than eating Puttu and Kadala.
There may be many things that you need to learn, relearn and unlearn. so be prepared and clear on your thoughts.
Dont start your life with some preconceived notion. Begin with a clean slate.

Hi OP! I am a north Indian married to a Mallu. My hubby pretty open minded and chill unlike my in-laws who are very narrow minded. I am not sure about other regions of Kerala, but the place where my husband is from, I found the society to be very male dominated. They expect the DIL to obey them and not do anything which they don't think is correct (according to them). I am fortunately not living with my in-laws, but whenever the topic of visiting them in Kerala arises, I go numb and remember the mental torture I had gone through when I was there. Please check well if you could adjust to all that. And may be they are cool people, you never know! This is just my personal experience :)

    Hi. Congratulations.
Mall family would expect you to adjust to their culture as any Indian household.
Muslims in Kerala have a more male dominated society.
I lived in Kerala for 25 years.
Don't worry about food.just eat what you like.
