it is a kannada classic with vishnuvardhan in the lead with madhavi the great dancer and saritha the great guru's daughter...I dont know how many of u all would have heard of this film, it is an old classic and wonderful in tyagaraja krithis, the story itself is a wonderful presentation with the guru taking on the body of his shishya after his death to fullfill his wishes of building a music scool, then vanishes with the wonderful voice and how the shishya tries to get it by going to shringeri, yellello sangeethavey is a fantastic no....regards sunkan
Sunkan Madam, You really made me to think back my Bangalore days. I love this movie very much and watched n times. Loved Yesudas voice in the movie. Esp. Shrungeri temple scenes are awesome.
Sunkun madam, Movie was very good with so many classical songs, ' malaya marutha gaana', 'ellellu sangeethave..','thaye dhaye toridhe' when he sees shringeri sharadambha in saritha as guru. ever lasting melodies from that movie.
