    Hi All,

I love kheer which is cold, liquidy that we can kind of drink our of glasses :)
But, whenever I make kheer it turns thick in 5 mins. How can I keep it from getting thick.
    Does adding condensed milk help?

    Let me know

    Hi Pie,
Let me know what type of kheer you are making-rice or suji(rava).
The proportion is very important. In one litre of milk put only 100 gms rice or little less. Let it cook for 30-35 minutes on sim flame. Stir continuously. Add dry fruits, cardamom and in the last add sugar. Take out from gas. If you add gur(khajur ka) then it tastes yummm!!! But be careful, if you are adding gur then always add after taking out from gas. Mix very well.
    Bye and enjoy!
    Shila.
