The director of Neer Paravai, Seenu Ramasamy, is all praise for actress Saranya Ponvannan, who was recently awarded the Filmfare for the Best Supporting Actress, thanks to her stellar performance in the movie. Saranya had won the National Award and Filmfare Award for the director's earlier Thenmerku Paruvakaatru as well. He says that her latest award is a result of her hard work, punctuality, commitment to work, talent, awareness about the craft and the ability to grasp whatever the director is expecting out of her. He conveyed all his best wishes to the ace character actress. When asked about his next film, he admitted that Vijay Sethupathy is surely acting in this as yet untitled film. He wasn't committal about the presence of Vimal in the film and also refused the title being Bangalore Thamizhan.
