This piece of news might come as a shocker for those who hold actor and activist Aamir Khan in high regard.

According to a news report in Indian Express, the 'Satyamev Jayate' host is allegedly forcing people in his swanky Pali Hill neighbourhood in Mumbai's Bandra area to sell their apartments to him so that he can construct a bungalow for himself.

The report alleges that an octagenarian woman and her daughter have alleged that the managing committee of their housing society is apparently misleading people and even pressurizing them to sell 60 per cent of the land to Aamir Khan for his palatial bungalow.Calling it a "falsely conceived redevelopment scheme" (sic), Dr Pamela de Sa, 87, and her daughter, Dr Geneve de Sa, 50, complained to the deputy registrar of co-operative societies.

The report further reveals that the society in question is Virgo Co-operative Housing Society that has 23 members. The society comprises of two buildings, Marina Apartments and Bella Vista, that has 12 flats each. While Aamir Khan owns two flats in Marina and one in Bella Vista, Pamela de Sa owns two apartments in Marina, and Geneve de Sa owns two garages in Bella Vista.

The report mentions that Aamir had first expressed an interest in acquiring a part of the plot in December 2011. Aamir has allegedly offered to buy 20,000 sq ft of the 36,207 sq ft (3,364 sq m) property at the rate of Rs 70,000 per sq ft of carpet area from society members interested in selling their flats or garages to him.

According to the offer made by Aamir to the society, a certain number of members should be willing to sell their premises outright so that Aamir has atleast 20,000 sq ft of carpet area for himself to build his mansion.
Also, for those members who are unwilling to sell their premises, Aamir has apparently offered to build a separate building on the rest of the plot.

According to the minutes of the meeting, 23 members voted in favour of Aamir while five members rejected the same. However, Geneve de Sa elaborates that out of the 23 members who voted atleast 75% or 17 members should have been present in the meeting while on the other hand, she says only 14 of them were there and the rest sent their vote in a sealed envelope. Geneva de Sa also states in the report that the proposed offer was for redevelopment but it is actually for selling the society's property to Aamir Khan instead.

Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies S M Patil said he was yet to go through the complaint but it appeared prima facie that the proposal did not qualify as "redevelopment".

News of Vidya Balan being pregnant was floating around ever since she refused Sujoy Ghosh's thriller Durga Rani Singh. However, this was apparently a false alarm. Vidya clarified to TOI that she was not pregnant but just taking a break from work.

Apparently, Vidya has been caught up with many projects and never got to take a break after her marriage to Sidharth Roy Kapur. That is why this lovely lady put her foot down and decided to treat herself to this much deserved 'holiday' from work. News has it that she called up Sujoy and recommended Kangna Ranaut for his movie, as Vidya just loved her in Queen.
After making these settlements, Vidya got busy with taking care of her home and holidaying with her hubby. The powerhouse actress is currently in US making good use of her time away from the movie glitz.

A few months ago news was rife that Sanah is to make her Bollywood debut in an intense drama film opposite a young actor. However no such development has been seen so far.
Well, let's hope Shahid takes notice and finally helps launch his sister's career, if not his own!

Is Katrina making a smart career decision by choosing to do King Khan Shahrukh Khan's upcoming flick Raees Or does it have a connection with Salman Khan who recently announced that he would like to bring a foreigner lady to home as his wife? Now, it is almost confirmed that the dream jodi is coming together for Raees which will be a special and edgy film of SRK.
As per reports from various sources, Director has approached Kat for the project and she is, reportedly, agreed to do the film. A source close to the film tells a tabloid, "Katrina is in talks to play the lead role. They have been discussing it for a while now, but latest developments suggest that she has given them a go-ahead. This will be her second film with Shahrukh Khan after Jab Tak Hai Jaan." Sonam Kapoor was the first choice for this role. It should also be noted that it was on Katrina's birthday bash, the famous Salman-Shahrukh rift happened and blew up to gigantic proportions. Presently, Katrina is filming for Bang Bang, with Hrithik Roshan.

 

Khiladi actor Akshay Kumar is upset with the rumours claiming his co-star in the Fugly song, Salman Khan had stormed off the film set during the shoot. It was reported that Salman was upset as Akshay was being in the lime light in that particular song. But the reports are turning out to be false and baseless. A source close to Dabangg Khan says, "Salman and Akshay reached the suburban studio, to shoot for the title track of Fugly, on their respective two-wheelers. Salman finished his shoot and then visited the adjacent floor where Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were doing a photo-shoot for 2 States."
The Jai Ho actor left the auditorium only after completing his shoot. Even his sister Alvira and brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri were shooting their home production O Teri in the same studio. He, actually, went to meet them but rumours suddenly blew it up out of proportion and reported that Salman left the set in mid way, leaving the shooting incomplete. But the truth is that Sallu informed Akki before he leaves to O Teri set and there was no hard feelings between two actors. Said a source close to Akki, "Their chemistry has been wonderful and once the song comes out, it will be there for all to see."

The actor, who says that he is not having any rift with his brothers and mother, will be seen together in many public meetings and other functions. But in the shocking development at the political circles has brought the Kannada's cultural icon Dr Rajkumar family's inner secrets into limelight and made it a topic of discussion among the media. Geetha Shivaraj Kumar, the eldest daughter-in-law of Rajkumar, who is said to have broken the myth of the family's principle by entering politics, has been alleged as the house breaker by his brother Kumar Bangarappa. Actor-turned-politician Kumar Bangarappa has claimed that his sister Geetha is the main reason for Shivaraj Kumar to get separated from his family, and now she has also broken the principles of Dr Rajkumar by entering politics Talking to a regional news channel, Kumar Bangarappa said, "My sister Geetha separated Shivaraj Kumar from his family. Rajkumar was very noble man, who was ever seen on this earth. Being his eldest daughter-in-law Geetha should feel ashamed to be in politics. Her political entry is not to do good for the society."
Talking about Geetha's political entry, Kumar said, "She is not coming to politics for social cause. Her main intention is to finish me politically."


Kumar Bangarappa said, "Shivaraj Kumar would not even dare to do this if his father Dr Rajkumar was alive today."

 

Ranbir Kapoor proved that he is a star with a golden heart. You may wonder why ? Because the authorities gave him a lucrative offer to be the host of the controversial reality show ‘Bigg Boss' season 8. The offer was so big that no star would ever reject it but the Rockstar actor, allegedly, denied the tempting offer. Isn't it Ranbir's way for sending a message to Salman, saying he respects his seniors? Well, the actor, earlier, openly denied having a troubled relation with the Jai Ho actor even after the Katrina factor and revealed that he has great respects for Salman. The producers of show, Big Boss, which had Salman as the host for last four seasons are now looking for a young but very popular star face for their show and Ranbir's name was first on the cards.
Ranbir might have denied the offer thinking it is not morally right to step into Salman's shoes. It should be noted that Salman's ex-girl friend Katrina Kaif is Ranbir's present crush. The speculations were such that Salman also doesn't want to continue as the host of the show and even made indirect remarks about his alleged disassociation with it even when last season of the show was running in TV. Now that Ranbir declined the offer, the producer's next best option might be Ranveer Singh, who is the alleged present boyfriend of Deepika Padukone who was Ranbir's ex- girlfriend.

 

The Bachchans acquired their fifth bungalow in Juhu sometime ago. It's exactly behind their current residence, Jalsa. We hear from sources that the family has plans to make a lawn in the newly acquired space.






It so happens that Prateeksha, their earlier residence, has a big garden where the famous Holi parties were hosted. However, Jalsa doesn't have a big open space. The idea to have a well-manicured lawn on their new bungalow premises has a dual purpose. It would work as an area for recreation for the adults, and it would also mean that little Aaradhya has her own personal open space to play in.

Currently, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan takes Aaradhya over to the garden at Prateeksha when the tot wants to run around. Unfortunately, there is a high-rise overlooking the Prateeksha lawn and some of their privacy is compromised. When the lawn comes into being at their new bungalow, the Bachchans will have a secure open space. No one can get a view of it because the only ones who can peep in are those staying at Jalsa, which is directly behind.

 

Rishi Kapoor and Nawazzuddin Siddique's recent war of words made headlines where the veteran actor took on the new talent for speaking rather negatively about Bollywood heroes' romancing the heroines on screen. Soon enough, this ''war of words' was much talked about on social networking sites like Twitter. And surprisingly, many of the tweeters attacked Kapoor for 'being mean to the simple Nawaz'.

However, those who know Rishi feel he is wrongly being attacked. Says one of his close friends from the industry, "It's not fair to Rishi. He has always been known to be a very straightforward person. He can never be diplomatic and the way he talks, at times, it can be wrongly presumed to be arrogance. In this whole episode, I don't think he meant to put down Nawaz. He was just answering a question posed by the media and finally it seemed like he was this arrogant man looking down upon another actors."

Come to think of it, this does make sense. No? We're sure even Nawaz would agree.

 

After years of being linked with her co-stars, it looks like actor Priyamani has finally found her Mr Perfect! The actress, it is learnt, has been in a steady relationship for the past couple of years. However, the National Award winning actress doesn't seem to be in the mood to spill the beans about her love life yet. "I don't want to comment anything about it right now. When the time is right, I will share the details myself. I'm not denying it, nor confirming it at the moment. Leave it at that for now," says the actress.

Ever since news of her relationship broke, there has been intense speculation about the identity of her boyfriend. In the past, Priyamani was linked with some of her co-stars including Prithiviraj and Tarun, but she had vehemently denied those rumours. Apparently, her beau isn't from the film fraternity.

Sources close to the actress reveal that the couple are "very much in love" but aren't ready to get hitched anytime soon. "Not in the next couple of years," a close aide of the actress reveals, adding that Priyamani is very happy about being in love. For now, the actress prefers to keep her romance strictly under wraps. Until then, the identity of her boyfriend will remain a mystery.
