Hi, I recently came across this maestro multi cooker which doesn't have weight or gasket. It is cooking through steaming method.. I felt it's bit pricey and If any one of you have used it please share your views... Maestro Multi Cooker Electric – A New Concept in Steam Cooking You have mc3, mc5, mc2 and mc7.... lakshmi.
Hi all, 70 views and no reply... I'm sure atleast few people would have started using it by now... It's just that this question has not reached their attention. Would appreciate if any user could reply.... lakshmi.
I have not used it, but the price seems quite high for what it does. Do you want to use it mainly for making idlis? I have a Presto stainless steel cooker (with weight) which my mother uses when my parents come to stay. For myself, I use an electric cooker for rice and an electric steamer for dumplings. They cost around $20 each. I have an idli steamer bought in India, but only have idlis during mom's visits!
You can do the same with a double boiler on the stove top at a fraction of the cost ... tefal or farberware ones.
Hi My mother is using this for the past 1 month, she is very happy with the way the rice gets cooked without overflowing.. She has not tried other items so far regards Rani
