    Hi Mahalakshmi,
    I have a Janome and I highly recommend buying it if its available in India. Other than that do check out Bernina or Singer. Bernina embroidery machines can do embroidery like cutwork, cording and other things like attaching beads or sequins. Do make sure you have a good service center before buying a foreign make machine, because embroidery machine do require periodic maintenance. Also make sure you use very good quality threads in the machine so that the sensors work properly.

    Sorry I can't be of of more help in this regard, as I am not familiar with the other brands available in India.
