Machine embroidery doubt

Hi all:hiya

I need a help from IL's who do machine embroidery.For machine embroidery do you use something called a 'stabilizer' to give more thickness to the cloth.If yes please can you tell me what is used as this 'stabilizer' and where do you get to buy this and what is it called. :help

Please feel kind enough to give some reply bcos whenever I post some queries in IL I hardly get any replies.....

The stabilizer you use depends on the kind of fabric, density of the design, etc. Read this website for more information.

I bought my stabilizers in the US from brothermall2.com.

Here in Qatar, those same stabilizera are not available, so the tailors use interfacing.
