    I think it is used for making phulka. some of my north indian friends were having it.

    kupuz, hummus, filafel, halomi cheese, macroni are good for health ?? i do live in ME. here everywhere i finding these things. Except filafel and macroni I never tried other items. whether these items will not increase our weight.

    I am taking rice and wheat regularly and not any millets. Thats why I asked you. Sorry for this silly question.

    G3 sudha you will get brown macroni in the shops....You can eat brown macaroni but eat moderate. I mix more vegetables and just one handful macroni that also brown....Hummus is very good and healthy...It is chick peas only there is recipe in IL - I think in Shiva's blog it is there....Cheese use moderately not every day weekly once or twice....that also you will get light versions. felafel not good for sure... deep fried...Kupuz also not good...kupuz rarely i eat.....

    All these which you have not tried is made with wheat and all purpose flour nothing more they are using. but the taste is different may be because of Oil, mixing ratio & granules size difference. Eat every thing don't control your tongue but don't forget to burn the calories to maintain your shape :):)
