Thank you Krishnaamma, I tried tomato soup yesterday...it came out well...I didn't stain it....I had it with seeds only....Pls tell me How to make clear soups?
Dear Vinu, You can cut Tomato into two horizontally to remove seeds easily. see the photo. Then it will be easy to remove the seeds with the tip of the peeler or by back of a spoon. then grind or chop tomato. ok ya? <FIELDSET class=fieldset><LEGEND>Attached Thumbnails</LEGEND> </FIELDSET>
Thanks...Can I try like this...Cut the tomato, remove seeds and pressure cook cut tomatoes to soften them and blens later on..... As far as peel is concerned I removed the peel after pressure cooking them as the whole peel came out in one go. Pls tell me for how long can we keep soups in ref after cooking? I prepared only small qty but my husband didn't get the time to drink so it's kept for 3 days in the fridge only. Same is with the cooked veg.....Pls advise for how long can we keep cooked veg in the fridge? How can we keep cut lemon fresh in the fridge? Thanks, Vinu
You can keep soup one or two day. And same for cooked veg. If you want to keep cooked veg. or sambar more than a day, put them in small small boxes and put them in deep freezer. When ever you need them take one box and defrost it and use. But the important this is you must have frost free fridge.ok? For what purpose you want to keep cut lemon is fridge? Is it for juice? If it is for that purpose, take juice out of lemon, and put it in a small container or ice tray and make it as ice cubes. When ever you want to use lemon juice use these cubes. You can make lemon juice, lemon rice or where ever you use lemon you can use these cubes. While preparing cubes dont use water at all. One cube is enough for one tumbler juice. Put one cube in a tumbler and pour water. add sugar or salt as per your taste and mix well. Your lemon juice is ready. I have already given these informations in "misc., forum" under tips.
