Love reading Books , My experience with tis book

Accepted Risk by Robin Cook.

I really liked this book for the beautiful way theauthor outlines Elizabeth character . Henavigates through the Witchcraft and Salem scenes smoothly. The detective in you is setfree with a sense of desperation to connect the clues .

I thoroughly enjoyed that experience .

I was spell struck the way the author brings out theAssertive character of Elizabeth and the lack of confidence of Kim., The way hefinally converges their personalities is a Class.

More so , I loved the way he gave a historic touch to thewhole plot with witch craft, the Salem episode .The transition from thehistoric background to hallucination wasawesome.

Thought the climax was predictable, I enjoyed the book forits wonderful balance of science , history and thrill.

Anyone with similar experiences /books, do share with me

Hi Brin,

Even I like Robin Cook's books. But I thought he was only into medical fiction. What's with this Witchcraft?
Could you elaborate more on the plot, without revealing the suspense, of course...

Hi Vidya ,

The book's plot is based out of witch hysteria and involves brief scenes about witch trials of 1692 & 1693. but the brilliance lies in the scientific touch he gives to it. Though not one of the best works of Robin Cook , the unique subject makes it worthwhile.
