The world is full of positive signs. There is actually such a great crowd of our guardian angels that many times I have even feared a kind of angelic stampede.
One think we should know kavi is to look for the substance of God around us. We will find way too many. Instead we are obsessed with the form of God. And in our obsession we have forgotten to see the substance that surrounds us in the form of good souls, kind hearts and helping hands.
    Thanks Kavi.
    love,
    your appa

    Sridhar,
Nice incident you had narrated in the begining to show what Love is in the human sense.
The other incident which your Guru illustrated shows us the difference in ordinary and specially extraordinary help.
Sure to memorise Nammazhwar's paasuram to help me in control of my thoughts that we are giving to Him what He gave us and nothing special.

    Bhargavi,
Sorry for the delay in responding to your post.
As I am getting older and older, paradoxically, I realise that falling in love, I mean the romantic love, is the best metaphor for loving God. The moment we drew a line between devotion and romance, the former became a chore. My mission in life is to introduce romance in our love for God.
Let me thank all of you for being there with me on that mission.
    regards,
    sridhar

    Oh dear uncle,

I thought Nammazhwar is the odd man out in this blog title (atleast without the word 'God')

But uncle, I tell you proved the relevance in your own way.

By the way, if I would have studied the scene described by you before my marriage (though it is an love marriage, i never visited beach with him ), i would have addressed the people as mad.

But now, it reminds me our trip to Lakshadweep islands. Ha ha ha. Thank you uncle for this wonderful blog

I am very happy my child that this blog reminded you of the happy trip to Lakshwadeep. Though my marriage is also a sort of love marriage I didn't have the chance to speak to my wife before engagement.

Of late I find a lot of similarity between human love and love for God. That makes it possible for me to write a romance serial on one day and talk about Nammazhwar on the next day.
By the way did you read the love scene dialogue, I wrote after this?
    thanks for coming in Raba.
    sridhar uncle
