Lose weight by counting calories .. easier than you think!!

    Welcome aboard :)

    please make a weekly chart and stick it to your fridge. Jot down pts on it after each meal.
    tip: reduce oil for sabji , pulao etc because 1 tsp oil is 1 point.
    I make lot of sabji with 1 tsp oil in non stick.

    my chart for yesterday:
    maintenance : 19 pts
    goal : 14 pts

    breakfast:
    Got up late so only had milk
    One cup 2% milk with chocolate powder= 2

    lunch:
    2 chapati =2
    half cup coooked rice =1
    katori dal =2
    sabji for 2 people made with 1 tbsp oil = 1 pt

    snack:
    1/3 pack of small chips bag = 2 pts :(

    tempted to order pizza but only 4 pts remain for dinner so controlled somehow !
    made pulao with 1 tsp oil
    2 cup pulao plus oil = 5 pts

    total : 15 pts

    No, The daily calorie limit recommended to me, by the apps I am using (Myfitnesspal) is 1970. I am not overweight. I want a slow weight reduction at the pace of half kg per month. Hence, the apps has advised me to take 1970 cal per day.

    breakfast : 2 bread butter 3 pts
    lunch : huge sandwich and juice : 7 pts
    dinner balance : 4 points..

    so no leeway for snacks today.. thinkingsmiley

    My Day was not all that good today, count not resist the ice creme doh1
    But managed to cut down on evening coffee and dinner

    Today's count :

    Morning Coffee - 1 point
    Breakfast - Cereal with Soy Milk - 2.5

    Lunch- Rice with Dal and beans curry - 6pts

    Had Coffee Lover's Ice cream - 4pts

    Dinner - Low fat Yogurt - .5pts
    So total is 14pts
