Hello Indus Ladies My son is going to be 5 in couple of months.He is having speech delay.He ask me clearly what he want or he answer simple questions when a stranger or neighbor ask.But his speech is not very clear and some he answers irrelevant and some time he blabbers .We took him to speech therapist she said he is little behind and the blabber thing is due to heavy drooling.Now she changed her centre .And he is also not fully potty trained he started using bathroom for loo when he was 2 years old but for toilet noway I can make him sit 6 months back after looking at his cousin of same age he sat willingly but he was constipated so no success but now how much ever I bribe I beg he is not even sitting in potty I bought a nice cartoon liner for the pity still no use he is asking for pull-ups for no2. He doesn't wet at night.I am totally stressed out.Please help
Priya, take him to his doctor. Please do it as soon as possible. They will send you to the specialist. Of course don't stop praying. Take care.
Have you seen a dr prior to this? Do you have a recent evaluation? Post for personal recommendations in the Bangalore forum...Or google and see which service center would be nearest your location...there are hundreds of professionals in Bangalore...it shouldn't take you very long to find one nearest to you.
