Looking for apartment near chicago downtown with indian community

    Hi,
    last saturday we moved to chicago from Nj.At present we stay in a hotel in prospect height.My husband is working forCTS in northern trust bank in chicago downtown (lasalle). I m looking for an apartment which is near to railway station and which has less travel time in metra.also i m looking for an apartment with indian community as i m having 2 yr old son.He need frds to share his time.My frds suggesting places like Airlington heights,north hamilton..devon street or stay in prospect height.My husband now starting so early in mrg(6.40 am to walk to railway station to catch 7.20 am metra) and 40 min in train.soon we will get our car,so walking time will b minimized.but i m concern abt train time.As i m new to this place,i like my husband to come soon (which means less travel time)please help me

    My husband too works in downtown and we live in Schaumburg international village apartments. your husband might have to leave early to work maybe by 7 , but we love this apartment and the whole place as most of the shops are nearby and restaurants too. the school is also good here. and this whole apartment is loaded with Indian community.

    i'm new to this forum, planning to move to elk grove from chennai by jan 13. v have shortlised schaumburg, hoffmann, palentine,. which is good and apt month on month, i have 4 yr old boy for him school, etc etc., is it good by starting here as a family or....
