    Hello Friends:

I am trying to plan for the coming Long weekend. We want to go somewhere and spend a day or two relaxing and having fun with kids. But not too much driving. We live in NJ. Could you kindly give me some ideas or places in and around NJ/PA/DE/Virginia?

    Thank you

Wildwoods , NJ would be a good place to go. very kid friendly, non-commercialized and beach place, with a lot to do.. hiking, biking trails, light houses, lakes and ofcourse, beach....
google it and see if you like it... It has an old fashioned charm and is not very far from you too (I think).

    Hi Anitha,

Wilwoods is not very far, just from my place it took jsut 1.30hrs drive i guess...you can very well enjoy there....

As our friends mentioned very nice for relaxing, you can make it as one day trip.

Last September we went, we booked whalewatch in cruise too...45mts journey in cruise...first time...we enjoyed very well..

Beach is also very neat, with board walk....few rides....worth visiting.

    Usha,

How much they charged for seeing that whale watch? What all places to see there?
