Lipstick shade for dusky indian skin

    i have dusky skin more on fairer side. the typical indian skin type. can anyone suggest me lipstick shade that will suit my skin type. one for regular use subtle one / natural colour. and one for ocassions. suggest one that is not expensive wihtin 200 Rs and available in india.

    You can try out a health and glow outlet near your place.First select few colours which you think iwll suit you , whent hey apply colour on your palm and then thye will apply them on ur lips(selected colours).So you can select a suitable colour by checking out in mirror.Revlon street wear comes to Rs.250 or something and its a good one.

    go to LAKME outlets they have very good shades for india skin and they are around rs 200.00. try the shades on your palm and then see whether it would suit you or not.

    the way we check lipsticks color whether it suits our skin tone or not is..either to apply that shade to lips orrr...just put a streak of it on the left hand...that shows how it looks on our skin..i saw this tip given by a beautician on some tv show..

    also try shades of brown..right from creamy ones to simple lip balm kinds...

    haasinii said it right.. the right way of judging if the lip stick will suite the skin is by applying it on the left hand.. and see if you like it... most shades of pink must be good.. just go to the store and check it out your self.. maybelline should not cost you more than Rs 200 .. also lakme and elle 18 are all indian brands i guess..:)

    For Indian skin tone,the best lipsticks are from Lakme.They have various shades.You should wear a light pink for regular use & a shade of maroon for occasions.
    The other brands which are not expensive are Maybelline & Revlon.

    hi,
    u can o for pinks but c to it that the shade is on lighter side. light mauves will also do for daily wear. for occassions choose dark shades of above. if u wear orange color outfit wear dark brown lipstick. u can go to Beauty Center in Bandra. there u can get many brands and shades as well. then u choose which u want.

    all pink shades will do ...

    1 more thing instead of lip stick .. try for lip gloss ..
    from past 2 yrs im using lip gloss instead lipstick .. its gud ..
    u can get in all colors.. try for pink shades ....
