thanks for sharing the article.It made me understand my mom wanting to be independent..It also made me understand my state after few decades..

 

Yes Maya, I agree with you completely. Yes Ms. Mani opting to be independent and being practical should be applauded. The other day I was talking to a friend of mine and she was telling me that the best gift she wanted to give her daughter was try and be as healthy as she can, of course certain things are beyond her control, so she could take care of herself during her later years. It made a lot of sense to me.
