I happened to come upon this article and thought of sharing it here. 4 Lies Mediocre People Believe (and Why They'll Never Live Their Best Lives) I found it interesting.
@kkrish Dear kk This sounds like the Four Way Test of Rotary. Lies of mediocre people appppear more honest! Sri
Respected Sir The author did not use the word "lie" in the context of honesty or lack of it. It is a term used instead of myth, or delusion, or other words - in an effort to drive the points through with much more force. We may call it the "writer's justice" akin to "poetic justice". Well, as you said elsewhere, we need to focus on the broader picture and take the messages in the article, which are - no self-pity, taking responsibility for our actions, not to procrastinate, and to not worry about physical aging. These points have been said by many in different ways in this forum also. Hence I thought I will share this article which is written from a different perspective. Of course to agree or not with the content is the readers' choice. I am neither promoting nor denouncing the contents, whatsoever. Regards
