Hi Girls,

Thanks so much for all your wishes....
Your wishes came true and now i am at my mom's place...but with lots and lots of pain...very big prb with MIL and she blasted me like anything...Weekend is not so good, DH travelled onsite...both the days went on full tears...very bad scoldings from MIL...this could be my worst crying days...i know much more to follow when i go back thr...Thanks to Pon for hearing all my problems, thanks so much pon, i really feel good now...I sometime feel like saying goodbye to this married life...i dont know, why i am thinking like that...DH is very loving and caring, but what to do, if he cannot say anything against his mom. All this torture and shouts happens only when nobody is at home...when someone is thr, nothing will happen and i will be tortured silently...

But on top of all these, DH surprised me with a beautiful x3 mobile as my b'day gift...

i'm dizzy here with this horrible heat wave. i thought i had a cardiac arrest. the damn salwar that i got stitched this time is sooo fitting i couldn't breathe anymore

I got a cake n Bouquet of roses from my office.It was belated though...My DOB was last month and star b'day was yesterday.Cake was good...Felt so nice and proud in front of DH.Though i'm on Mat leave for the last 8 months..My office sent me these..how nice.

Ok, I forgot to tell you ppl... an important decision taken yesterday, that i quit job as my leave is getting over in Aug.Planned to be a SAHM till Manu turns 1.5-2 yrs.

Ohhh Latha and Aishu; It is nothing.
I had an accident a few years back (thrown off the bike-head hit road-blanked out ))
Well; had to take scan and there was a clot from this accident and an older clot; both inside back of the head (god knows how that happened Well; anyways; specialist doc said people do live normally with clots; but for some; it can become serious; it that case I need to go for surgery. Som symptoms was dizziness; with eplipsey (sort)/ inability to write/ memory loss etc etc.
So when yesterday I was dizzy from morn 9 till afternoon 2; it led to frantic ISD's ) But here I am alive and well....I tell J; I am too young to die; and moreover; I haven't visited italy ))

Nitha dearie...hope you are feeling well now...I just read the last page and went back to read what you had written earlier...Glad that you got well soon. Anyway, get it checked as to why you had that dizziness...Hope it was due to something trivial. Its great that you managed to make that lovely spread inspite of not feeling well...and loved your sense of humor too about visiting Italy...How is Chinnu?

Padmini - Hugs and lots of positive vibes to you...I really don't know how MIL can be so rude...Are you very soft natured? Hope DH intervenes and settles all the issues.

Latha - Nice place that you visited. Saw the pics from the link you gave...

Ramya - Does DH travel every week? Is that the nature of his job or is it for a short while? It must be really difficult for you to handle everything alone...Hope you have a peaceful week. How is the little one doing?

V - Guess A must have had a great time...But i agree it must have been tiring to visit so many places in 2 days...

Pon - Have a great time at mom's place...Has DS turned 1?

We are fine except that I am getting a lot of backache these days from carrying clingy DS around and clearing/cleaning up the floor after him. I need to get back to some regular exercise to make myself fit. hmmm...

you made me cry... what a brave girl you are. i'm disgusted that i take life for granted and complain about trivial stuff. take care girl. did you see the doc after that dizzy spell? why not they operate and take that clot out of your system? come over here and travel down to Italy. oh i so want to hug you in person...

now what to say for you dearie. in all these 10 years of married life i fail to understand why a dil should seek 'permission' and 'approval' to see her own parents and decide where she wants to take a break. please don't take that i'm damaging your thought process with your DH.... i could never forget and move along that my DH insisted his dad was right (on this permission seeking process). staying under one roof and being abused is one thing... long distance abuse is equally damaging. i'll pray that your DH realises and stands for you. the latter is more important for a healthy, trust filled relationship. i tell DH that until and unless he stands for me openly i cannot accept that he understands my situation and emotions.

Sindhu,

you know how much i talk. but in the case of someone like Padmini's MIL keeping quiet and taking in all these verbal abuses is the only way. unless the husband says you've had enough let's work on this relationship sans my mom nothing will change. i've gone through similar experiences like hers and all i could do was bear everything silently.

girls i have sure missed many of your posts. i'm so exhausted today. i must have stopped with vaccuming today. went ahead with mopping as well and that's left me breathless. off to bed. today has been the hottest day or is worse coming i don't know. wonder why european summer is appreciated it's unbearable. but the best part is i made a yogurt drink with home-grown cucumber and mint lecker, lecker

Hi ladies,

Tried to make sure that I am not away for long hfrom here.

NItha - I seriously do hope that this dizzy thing never happens again. I guess I have to learn from you. The way I cried, wailed and scared everybody the day I got hospitalised was like horrible... God you make me feel ashamed of myself. Take care girl ... I love your positive attitude and will try to learn that from you.

My life is going on - today felt like cooking a bit. So made stuffed idlis for breakfast and coconut-peas rice for lunch. I am yet to taste either. Will let you know how it turns out to be. But, I am done with my cooking for today... well until evening. I love cooking but hate spending too much time in the kitchen (makes sense??).

Yesterday, a lot of electrical work got fixed. All small work, holders and fittings here and there, but the guy never turned up. It was always like... oh.. that is nothing.. will hardly take time, will come and finish it tomo and guess what tomo never comes. So, yesterday we got to know of another fellow and this guy did everything patiently.

hi girls, I came back to work yesterday.. working only 6 hours everyday till tomm.. my client has changed the style of working hence I am in a fix.. cannot manage to breathe peacefully even for 5 mins so getting into IL is a big ???.. so just peeping in to say a big HI to all.. will try to read a few posts here and there to know whats happenign with you girls.

P's after school started on Friday and so far he is doing fine with the long hours (touchwood).. at work-I have requested for morning hours like morning shift so I can pick up P from aft. school and be with him all evening and also manage household.. but client is making a hue and cry for that. lot of drama happening.. until I went on leave my client was all goody goody to me and all appreciative.. now all of a sudden I am hearing just the opposite told to my boss.. and my boss does not want to share client's email with me that discusses abt my new work timings as he thinks it will get on my nerves.. he thinks the client is just playing a blame game to safeguard themselves.. I told my boss yest that this is not the workstyle I want.. if client is going to do micro management and treat me like a fresher.. boss I am quitting. I need to be in a place where I can use MY brains. I cannot hang on if there is no work that is challenging to me. hmmm looks like I will wait for a week or 2 and decide if I want to continue here or no.

just wrote my mind.. I will share more later.. it feels nice to vent out here.. thanks for hanging in here girls. Hugs to you.. send me some hugs too..
