Lets pray together

With the Indo Pak tension increasing day by day and talks about an impending war making rounds in media and also the fear of global recession looming large, things seem to go wrong everywhere..The only solution to all our fears and problems is prayers.
Prayers when offered collectively is even more effective

So dear friends lets all join hands and pray together that He show us the right path in everything

"ASATHOMA SATH GAMAYA
THAMASOMA JYOTHIR GAMAYA
MRUTHYORMA AMRUTHAM GAMAYA
OHM! SANTHI SANTHI SANTHI"

This prayer invokes the God to take us from,

Untruth to Truth
Darkness (ignorance) to Light (knowledge)
Death to Immortality
And let there be Peace, Peace, Peace!

Here is wishing for Peace in the New Year

Yes , Let us pray together

According to Sri PB Srinivas [ I hope , no introduction required ] the above Sloka needs to be recited as :

Asathomaam Sath Gamaya
Thamasomaam Jyothir Gamaya
Mruthyormaam Amrutham Gamaya
Ohm! Santhi Santhi Santhi

that is the sound maa might be pronounced to get negative results
hence it needs to be changed to maam to get the positive results .

Padmavathi,
When I heard the news in the morning about the war tensions between India and Pak..I was very much worried and prayed to Him, that it should not happen, thinking about the after effects of these..
I too join you and other friends here in prayers for a peaceful world.
