Thanks Viswa sir for playing this puzzle. It’s one hard day to remember right. We should thank our stars for not being in the harm’s way. Yes there are many interesting facts about Gander. Thanks for sharing
Yes many interesting facts about Gander Thanks Also thank you for posting wonderful hints and helping the neurites to solve this one. Appreciate your enthu as well.
Thanks Thanks Gauri for playing this puzzle and Thank you and other neurites for showing us how to arrive at clue images. Gander was tough and I was thinking of Mother Goose rhymes which also had Goose and would be confusing too. Just wanted to share something I learnt. Thanks again
"Puzzles about IL-ites" would be a super fun activity. To keep it easy to participate and moderate, maybe the answer should be posted with the puzzle itself. LOL. : ) No spoiler tag to master. : ) Something like: - Post an image collage of 3-8 images and an IL-ite's name. - Readers will "Guess the keywords or why those images were chosen for that IL-ite?" - Anyone can post any number of collages at any time, but limit to one collage & IL-ite name per post. The above are just some thoughts. Any format is fine as long as spoiler tags are not needed. Definitely has to be a separate thread and not in the Neurons thread.
I'm sorry folks, this week totally got away from me. The past three days have been unadulterated madness. I will post the puzzle later tonight (Saturday PST). We can solve it leisurely over the coming week.
I will feel happy if this thread gets active again. I hope my over enthusiasm didn’t kill everyone’s interest. I look forward to silently solving the puzzles.
First off, thank you Gauri for posting the puzzle and Viswa for bumping up thread. Attempting to solve this puzzle has single-handedly raised the quality of my internet wanderings for the day. ==== I was settling down for a looong afternoon of solving, but perhaps I lucked out. I think I got the answer already. I used the most obvious word for each of the four pictures. Google returned the answer as the first result. Clue and question to confirm my answer: One of my fondest conversations with my FIL is the one where I quizzed him at length about the names chosen for all of their children and the already-born grandchildren. I just had to know who each was named after.
