    The answer is "Indian Astronomical Observatory (IAO)"


    It is locate in Hanle near Leh in Ladakh, India, has one of the world's highest located sites for optical, infrared and gamma-ray telescopes. It is operated by the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore. It is currently the tenth highest optical telescope in the world situated at an elevation of 4,500 meters (14,764 ft).

    Image 1 - IAO stands on Mt. Saraswati, Digpa-ratsa Ri, Hanle in south-eastern Ladakh union territory of India.
    Image 2 - It is located 4,500 meters above the sea level.
    Image 3 & 5 - 2.01 meter optical-infrared High Altitude Gamma Ray Telescope (HAGAR) is named, "Himalayan Chandra Telescope (HCT)".
    Image 4 - The other telescope is 0.07 meter wide-field optical telescope and called "GROWTH-India telescope.

    Yes, I was! I had narrowed it down to Leh and Sonmarg and picked up on the astro clue from the milky way pic. So I guess I was close! A good puzzle, Viswa! Thank you for checking with me!
