Great *Event.*
A remote town in Kerala. A housemeasuring between 8 cents and 3 cents.
The continuous monsoon rains and the cool climate have left the trees with a greenish tinge to the surroundings.
All around Greenish and as well as COOL.
The house next to this house is our house. Right next door. An old couple living It's unlikely anyone come looking for them; since their are abroad.
We are a newly married young couple, just looking for a baby. On weekdays,both of us to go to work.
Somehow it has become our habit that every Sunday evening we have coffee at their Nandavanam.After drinking coffee and gossipiing for an hour, back to our home. It will be nice to relax.
It was a pleasure to drink coffee and chat with them without any rush in the cold.
Every Sunday this has been the routine. IEverytime , the Grand old Lady struggling to open the Coffe Powder Tin and give it to the grand old man asking him to open it.
Grand oldman would stylishly curl his mustache and open it with a triumphant grin.
Then Grandma would go the kitchen with a sly smile.
We observed this it for two or three weeks, and when we were gone last week, we bought a device for the grandmother to open the lid easily.
Next Sunday evening visit as usual . As usual, Grandma approached Grandpa with a coffee tin. Grandpa opened it with a smile.Grandma went inside and my wife followed.
to her.My wife enquired why not using the device!!!!
Grandma said with a smile!
"Child, nothing is needed to open this lid. I will open it myself. It is a pride feeling that he is stronger than me; as I tell him to open it. He feels Happy.
It is a joy that we feel that we will still be useful. He feels that I still depend on him !!!!
Living together is the basis of married life.LIFE IS VERY SHORT TO LIVE. Live happily together without feeling that anyone is useless. That's what this story is about" they said.
I couldn't speak for a while.
Age should not be underestimated. Their actions also have meaning. How beautifully it is summarised that no one should THINK that he is of no use to anyone.
All these subjects are not taught in any school.
You should LEARN from such grandparents . For that they need to be with us.

Beautiful, well said, in that there is a reality in giving up in life to make her husband happy, in that there is an affection, a LOVE, what a wonderful life. A life that has been lived up to this point is a bond without any tension, a bond of affection that says you are me and I am you. This is what is meant as LIFE.
