The 1st song is popularised by hyderabad brothers. 2 and 6 are new to me..have to find out who has written it....maybe it will be discussed.....later...

don't miss out aruna sairam..her concert was simply out of the worlds as per the HINDU review.

Today let us see N.S.concert.....

Raj tv is telecasting live one hour of the chennaiyi thiruvaiyaru...at 9.00 in the morning and again the evening....

Neyveli Santhanagopalan....what to say...his voice was not to the mark of his other program..where he teaches music...was it only my feeling....

His concert theme was Rama....

Today was sudha raghunathan kutcheri...Actually there was a power cut...was keeping my fingers crossed..got the power 5 minutes to 6.00

What to say...she keeps you spell bound...with her mastery over briga's....

Her concert theme was Narayana...........

Naryaana nimma ...suddha dhanyasi....purandaradasa

Narayanam baje narayanam...valachi- bhajan..(FIL says it is from a old film..not sure...last year nityashree sang the same song)

Naryana narayana govinda hari....namavali bhajan.

It really was the a pleasant one..and to hear narayanan in margazhi....what more to say.....

NS is a good teacher..but is slowly losing his voice..and usually he swallows the words....i am still trying to figure out one song's words...which i have for the last 4 yearsshakeheadshakehead

Monday OSThiagarajan is singing (I think sunday there is no programme)

That SriSatyanarayana is one of her best always...i have heard her singing for 2 years...2005,2007 and she has mastered alapanai and brigas...and is always at her best....

btw did you see the list in the link i have given...there are lot of kutcheries in nanganallur anjaneyar temple..you can inform your mom.

Yesterday night, I had the pleasure of listening to M.S.Sheela on AIR..She has such a splendid voice...and a mastery...what to say..wow...nothing more...it was at 10.00 to 11..to be frank i just gonked by the end only to wake around 11.30 to hear nityashree...but i switched off and slept...

3. Kamakshi Pahimaam...Sivakambhoji...Jayachama raja wodeyaar.(it is a very beautiful rendition
4. ...it was a mukhaari RTP..slept off...bonkbonkbonk
5. Sri tirupathi Venkataramana - kharaharpriya- Purandaradasar....

Sorry guys...did not do justice to that fantastic performance.....if anybody else heard it...please fill in the blanks....
