    Dear Chitra,
Dhan Theras (Trayodashi) is to-day. Please clarify if the Deepam should be lit to-day or to-morrow.

    Regards

    Hello Usha !

Today is Thrayodashi, but there is some "micham" tomorrow which is taken into calculation for lighting it tomorrow. This is the Pundit's explanation.
There is nothing wrong in doing it on both the days, I think !
    Love & regards,
    Chithra.

    Thank you Chitra

    Dear Chitra,
Right..As you said, I will light the lamps to-day and to-morrow. I have even informed my best friend (whose husband has been in the hospital for about 3 months) to light the lamps. She was very touched when I mentioned about your explanation on Yama Deepam.
Once again, we wish you and your family a very Happy Deepavali.
    Regards

    My dear Usha !

I am touched by your concern for your friend. Please tell her that I will also join you in praying for her husband's good health. I always believe, more things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of !
    Love & regards,
    Chithra.

Times flies so fast...It is time to light the Yama Deepam again.
Can you please let us which day we have to light the deepam (is it 7th?)
Also please let us know whether we should do the Lakshmi-Kubera Puja on Diwali day ie 8th or Amavasai ie 9th?

    Regards
