    Hello Usha !

    Today is Thrayodashi, but there is some "micham" tomorrow which is taken into calculation for lighting it tomorrow. This is the Pundit's explanation.
    There is nothing wrong in doing it on both the days, I think !

    Right..As you said, I will light the lamps to-day and to-morrow. I have even informed my best friend (whose husband has been in the hospital for about 3 months) to light the lamps. She was very touched when I mentioned about your explanation on Yama Deepam.

    Dear Chitra,
    A few questions:

    This year should the yama deepam be lighted on Sunday night?
    When is the Lakshmi puja to be done? Is it on Tuesday? Please confirm.
    Also can the yama deepam be left on the patio (balcony)? Or is it better to leave it outside the main door.
