Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!

Hello Everyone!

I'm in Charlottesville, Va and it's snowing a lot here! It's a pain, but I love the beauty of the surroundings covered in white.

Since we're stuck indoors I've undertaken the huge endeavor to clean out my closet today. Later this evening we're going to build a fire and sip on hot cocoa.

Anyone else settling into winter around here?

We too having Blizzard here ( in DC) ... nice to see the un-disturbed snow through our windows ! Just now we had a cup of hot "masala" tea !!

I just love it... went outside took lots of snaps and videos !! Enjoying....

Hi Tina & Gowri,

Same here..... heavy snowfall in NJ..... this is the first time i am seeing so much snow.... We spent 40,000 Rs for our visit to Kulu manali 2 years back to see a small patch of snow....and its Free here....hehehhe

Had heavy lunch..... now planning for some Hot snacks.... I am too tempted to go out.... but the snow outside my house is more than 10 inch.....:hide:.

I just finished making a big pot of soup, we're going to put the kids to bed soon and curl up with a movie. I'm glad this snow came on a weekend, it's nice to have this time together as a family.

Warm soup....Tina sounds yum!! We had our first big snow and it is lovely out there. Enjoy your evening and the weekend.

Up here in the Catskills (NY state) we are supposed to get a couple inches of snow tonight but its darn cold. I have a fire going and watching old movies, cat is napping, things baking in the oven.

We got an entire season's worth of snow in a single weekend Lovely to watch from inside, with good, hot food to accompany. My son had a blast wading in the snow and throwing snowballs!

Let me join you all on this very cold and white night!
We too are snowed in and you can see that I have added the view out of my front door pic to my id!

From the warmth of the house, the scenery outside looks so pretty. I am happy I don't have to step outside.

Me too...sipped a hot herbal tea and watched an old movie!

We all ventured outside today for a little play and a lot of work! My youngest (3yrs) couldn't even stand up in the snow, we got over 2 feet of snow. Poor little guy kept falling over!

My older (5yrs) had a blast! Played and rolled around for hours. Dh and I worked hard trying to get our car dug out. My muscles are already aching, I know I'm going to feel worse come morning.

The roads around our home are still bad, so we're going to be spending the rest of the day in. Time to make another fire, hot chai (with a splash of Bailey's;-) for dh and I, and another round of hot cocoa for the kids.:cheers

Sounds very good Sleepy! Bailey should do it!

We got rid of some seventy five dollars to get the drive way and the paths cleaned up.

We do not have the muscles any more!!!
