As long as it was inside your house and not sitting in a car I’d use it.

I will use it . Paneer is from boiled milk so chances of it getting spoiled is very low . Always do the smell test before cooking . If it smells funky straight goes to trash otherwise on to pan .

:hello:I would suggest a snap test -have A tiny portion of the paneer in question - put it in hot pan and wait for it to give off gentle smoke . If paneer is spoiled already with fungus bacteria it would give dirty odour. Even in refregirator
paneer only remains fresh for a day or two .

In order to identify the spoilt nature of paneer, it turns light yellow or contains some brown spots on the body. When touched, it would become watery and the smell also would be vey bad.
The colour of the paneer should be clear and dirt free. The paneer should be spongy in nature and must be water free. ( google search times of India)

The paneer blocks sold in the US are pasteurized and will last forever. Fresh homemade paneer has a short shelf life.

In india TN aavin milk in blue sachets pasteurised & homogenised - even if it is stored in refrigerator- would not last beyond than 24 to 32 hours.
