hello ladies... I absolutely love the support and encouragement here in this site. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good website for me to learn gujarati or if we could form a group with a someone who knows the language and learn it !! I want to learn gujarati especially because I have friends who speak gujarati and also the area I live in and work call the need for knowing this language. I appreciate anyinput /help in this matter Thanks Sushama
Re: Language - Gujarati Sushama,I have lived in Gujarat for 5 yrs. It was a very lovely time. I learnt Gujarati by listening to people talk in Gujarathi.You can ask them the meaning of words you dont understand. If you want to know any words do post here .I am sure there are Gujarathis here who can help and I can help you in how much of Gujarathi I know.Lots of words are similar to Hindi.Good luck.
Re: Language - Gujarati Dear Sushma, Kemcho tame, i am a gujrati living in Nairobi, as Chocolate said listen to the gujrati speaking people, speak with them and they will correct you if you are wrong, i learnt my hindi by watching hindi movies. I canhelp you in anyway you want to wecan even start to communicate in gujrati, let me tell you the patel gujrati is alittle different from our shahgujrati, but as long as you understand each other what else do you want.
