The girl effused her happiness after seeing the little toy that she has misplaced some time back.
After a continuous study for a long time, she felt effete and went out for a change.
Today's word: Scowl-To express with a frowning facial expression

She is such a winsome lady that every body in the party got attracted to her at the first sight itself.

    Today's word:

    Impediment - Obstruction, hindrance, obstacle

As they both were ego centrics, it became an impediment in their friendship.

    Here are my sentences:
For many men, most impediments can be overcome by having winsome women around. That may be why they prefer ladies like those as secreteries.
Only a winsome lady can take it all in when her boss effuses his worries to her.

I felt the effete grinder scowl at me when I used it continuously for too long contradicting the instructions in the old user manual.

ILites can be justifiably proud that Anamika Veermani, the girl from Cleveland, Ohio won the National Spelling Bee Championship with this virtually unpronounceable and difficult to spell name of a device that measures arterial blood flow: Stromuhr
    http://www.medgadget.com/archives/2010/06/spelling_bee_champion_wins_by_spelling_a_medical_device.html

    Sentence?
The demure Stromuhr is handy to measure blood flow.
