    Punjabi Lassi

    Ingredients:

    500g yogurt
    50g cream
    150g sugar
    3 drops rose essence
    1 tsp rooafza
    100g ice cubes


    Method:

    1. Mix yogurt, ice cubes, sugar in a vessel and blend to a fine paste.
    2. In a tall glass, add 1 tsp ruafza, the above yogurt mix, sprinkle rose essence and chill it.
    3. Serve with cream on it.

    this is very hot summer.Best and healthy cool drink for this hot season is buttermilk or neer more.We may make neer more in so many flavours.

    Butter milk[thick] one cup
    water 3 cup
    ginger small piece
    curry leave 1 string
    green chilli 1
    salt,asafoetida each onepinch
    grind all the item from ginger to asafoetida in smooth paste and mix with butter milk. Enjoy

    Another flavour buttermilk

    thick buttermilk 1 cup
    water 4 cup
    lemon small 1
    ginger,curry leave,salt[kaluppu preferable],asafoetida,green chilli
    crush all the items from ginger to green chilli within the hand with fingers.
    add thick buttermilk water,lemon juice and crushed masala.enjoy.

    buttermilk 1 cup
    water 3 cup
    curry leave
    salt
    sambar onion crush with salt and curry leave
    Mix all with buttermilk and water.Enjoy

    curry leave paste 1 tsp
    salt
    Mix all the increadients.Enjoy

    buttermilk [thick] 1 cup

    sugar or jaggary 2 tbs
    salt one pinch

    Mix all and blend in blender or mixy.Enjoy

    can add 1/4 tsp cardamum powder [optional]

    Dear IL friends,
    The flaour of north indian butter milk is different. i.e Amul butter milk.
    Any one know the masala added in the butter milk may write please.

    Cool cucumber buttermilk

    Hi to all,

    Here is one more buttermilk. Enjoy


    Ingredients :

    4 cup low fat yogurts
    2 tsp minced ginger
    2 medium cucumber, peeled, seeded and chopped
    2 capsicum (optional)
    ½ tsp black salt
    salt and pepper to taste
    6-8 ice cubes - crushed



    Method: :

    1) Place all ingredients in the blender except ice.
    2) Blend until smooth.
    3) Serve cool with crushed ice.
