Ladies in Marina/Greens /JLT/AL Barsha/Tecom/

Dear Ladies ,,

I have recently shifted to Dubai ( a month back) with my husband , wanted to know if any Indians staying in or near Marina area( in areas like greens etc) ,, i am staying in Marina and hardly get to see any Indian families here.. I believe most of them are putting up in Bur dubai area.. it will be great to get in touch with anybody staying in this area..I am missing the Indian populaltion and all the chit chat with neighbours and friends ..do get in touch.

Keep coming across posts from ladies staying in above mentioned areas,,,
it will be great to know how many IL members live in this part of the city.

We can organise meetings, or hang out together whenever there is time and yes ofcourse discuss day to day issues like maid availability etc in this area.

So Gorgeous ladies,,,don't feel lazy and post a small message if you are putting up here...will be fun to catch up.

My name is latha,a new member to IL. I am from bangalore and resident of dubai for the past 4 years.I live in the springs,have 2 daughters aged 8 and 7.Nice to be a member in IL,will catch up soon.

Hi Latha,

I am putting up in Marina ...good to know Indians in this area as mostly i see european crowd here.
Where do u go to shop for all types of spices etc,,is it Lulu in barsha
or is there any other store as well in the neighbourhood.
I have been in Dubai for past 3-4 months only and have also lived in blore for about 2yrs, still miss its awsome weather and palm trees .

First and foremost welcome to Dubai.First of every month I make a long list of the monthly provision and give it to my hubby and he buys all of it from Tamil Sandai in karama.Most of the items I buy from there and occassionaly we go to LuLu in Barsha or Geant.

I live in BArsha Tcom area , having 4 yrs old daughter, just placed her in Winchester school , plz guide if anybody else children are going into the same achool

Let's join for a get-together somethere in MAll of emirates , Lulu or Batuta mall as life is really borning being into a lot of europians into this ares and hard to find out indians

We are also in greens and the similar problem is faced by me as there are a very little indian families

Yes for sure we should make a get together group,,, it will be fun to catch up , you can leave your contact number there,,will call you as we are not supposed to give phone numbers

I am from New delhi , India and moved to dubai just in Aug , this place is very boring for me and my 4 yr old daughter , do u have any son or daughter ??

Let's meet sometimes in IBN Batuta or mall of emirates and be friends , even you can come to my place or i will visit as we communicate to each other frequently

Even I am from Delhi,,kalkaji to be precise,,which place are you from??
We came in May this year only so its been couple of months now.
I know initally this place seems boring ,but gets better with time
You must be missing ur friends , relatives and neighbours , but you will start enjoying this place ,,give it some time
