    Dear Ladies,

I am tested positive and am currently on 5W4D.

I am eating a pomegranate daily for the past 3 days. Today while i was just browsing, I came across some websites telling that pomegranate is used for abortion during ancient times. It causes miscarriage it seems.

Is it true? Did any one of u eat pomegranate during first trimester. Please clear my doubt. Will this have an effect on my baby ? Please please

    Congratulations, Swathi :)

I had pomegranate almost everyday right through my pregnancies so dont think there is any truth to this! But if you are hesitant, it is best to clarify with your doc.

    Take care...

I am so relieved now after reading all your responses.. On seeing that info on the net, I was suddenly shocked and mortified. But on seein ur responses am feeling little better.

I just dont want to risk this pregnancy now. So i will stop eating pomegranate as of now. Anyway doc said to me eat anything u want. But dont eat spicy foods. But y risk? Will stop now and resume later..
