    Hi All:

    This is one of the North Indian Navratri fasting/offering recipes. Posting the recipe here.

    Kuttu ka aata - 2 cups
    Potatoes - 3
    Half Spoon Sendha Namak
    1/2 tsp black pepper powder (kali mirch)
    Edible oil or butter

    Boil and mash the potatoes. Mix the flour with black salt, and mashed potato. Knead into dough. Make small balls of the dough and flatten as puris. Heat oil or butter in pan, and fry each of them in the oil/butter. Wait until it turns light brown and turn on the other side. Serve hot.
