One of the Baahubali after effects was to see the Prabhas-Anushka pair become a reality. Nobody could get over their sizzling chemistry. Fans felt that they made a great couple and needed to get married. According to new reports, Prabhas will be marrying the granddaughter of a famous industrialist, Bhupathi Raju, the owner of Rassi cement. Both the families of Prabhas and Bhupathi Raju have come together regarding the alliance. However, there were no official statements made on the possible alliance.

Close sources said, “Yes, the family of Prabhas has been in touch with the Bhupathi Raju family for the past three years. If things go on well, the couple will get married in November this year. The girl has been born and brought up in the United States.” Various reports also state that the duo was engaged between Bahubali 1 and Bahubali 2.

However, Anushka recently expressed her annoyance over the rumors that have been flying around for some time now. Almost everybody has been talking about Prabhas and Anushka getting married. This did not reach well with the actress. She said, “It has become a routine for the media to link me with all the stars I work with.” She also clarified that she and Prabhas are just good friends and they will not be marrying.

It is too sad to learn that the Prabhas-Anushka rumor might not come true. Prabhas and Anushka made a way too good pair. However, somewhere deep inside, we will still continue to believe that there is still a possibility for the pair to be together.

 

Shruti Haasan was all set to play the role of a warrior princess in the name of ‘Sanghamithra’ directed by Sundar C also starring Arya and Jayam Ravi. The movie Sangamithra, directed by Sundar C released its first look at the 2017 Cannes Festival. Sundar C, AR Rahman, the lead cast, and art director Sabu were present at the festival.

However, the actress in a statement released that she will be backing out of the magnum opus. In a press release, the actress said, “Shruti has, unfortunately, had to take a call not to be part of ‘Sangamithra’. Knowing it was a massive undertaking and a long commitment spanning over 2 years, she knew the importance of her training, a comprehensive script and proper date calendar.”

The statement further said, “She hired and started training with one of best combat trainers April onwards to make sure she was ready in time for a shoot. Despite her enthusiasm and commitment to ‘Sangamithra’, she has had to give the film a miss since she had not received a proper bound script nor a proper date calendar.”

“She is currently caught up with promoting her Hindi film ‘Behen Hogi Teri’, prep for Sabash Naidu and her musical associations,” it concluded.

The other members of the team have not yet commented on the issue.

 

South India has been obsessed with the whole Rajinikanth joining politics controversy for quite some time now. Recently, Kamal Haasan spoke about his views on the issue. He said, “Given the current political scenario in Tamil Nadu, I would say no one should enter politics. Not just Rajinikanth or any other actor. Any rational person will not do that.”

The Ulaganayagan spoke about his views only after a week of Rajinikanth hinting about his political entry. Kamal also added, “One’s feeling as a Tamil is important rather than being born as a Tamil. Gandhi. Nehru, Bose are not Tamils by birth but many Tamil people keep the names of those leaders for their children. I am considered a Keralite by many Malayalees. If you ask whether I try to become the CM of Kerala, I would say I am not interested in that.”

Kamal Haasan’s comments brought in a lot of outrage from Rajinikanth’s fans. Though many agreed, some could not accept Kamal’s words. Kamal said at an event, “Politics is about service and not about earning money. We must raise the salary for politicians and ask them to serve us well. But if you ask them to take it up as an act of sacrifice, they will use the opportunity in other ways.”

Kamal felt that Rajini’s need to clean the system is absolutely right. He said, “There is nothing wrong in what Rajinikanth said. The view is not new either.”
