It's a BABY GIRL for Asin and Rahul Sharma

Actress Asin Thottumkal and husband Rahul Sharma were today blessed with a baby girl. This news definitely comes as surprise as Asin didn't make any public appearance with her baby bump. Asin has kept her personal life quite secretive post marriage to Rahul Sharma.

An official statement from the couple reads, ‘’We are ecstatic to announce the arrival of our angelic baby girl earlier today. The last 9 months have been most special and exciting for the both of us and we would like to thank all our well wishers and everyone who has been part of our journey for all their love and support."

Asin and Rahul tied the nuptial knot on 19 January 2016.

Actor Arvind Swamy's upcoming cop-thriller Vanangamudi is going through the fastest phase of its shooting now. Directed by Selva, the film has been shot in Tuticorin among other places, and will further be shot in Kodaikanal for a few important portions.

Vaibhav - Priya Bhavanishankar starrer Meyaadha Maan, directed by Rathna Kumar is currently running successfully in theatres, and now, the film's producer Karthik Subbaraj has come up with an interesting puzzling tweet.

In his tweet, he has added that there is a new controversy that has popped up for Meyaadha Maan, though, there is nothing as of now that we know about. Karthik tweeted, "Oh My God !!!! There is a #controversy with #MeyaadhaMaan ... Stay tuned for anupdate aboutit at7pmtoday...."

Okay, only at 7 pm today, we would know if this is going to be some promotional strategy for the film or a real controversy. Stay tuned.

Actress Nayanthara and director Vignesh Sivan are dating and were often spotted together is something we all know despite the star couple trying to keep things under wraps. The actress even flew to NY to celebrate her beau’s birthday in style and gifted the filmmaker a luxurious car as a birthday present. Rumours have been doing rounds that the couple will soon get hitched and take their relationship to the next level. Speculations are that Nayanthara and Vignesh Sivan are planning a secret wedding and the ceremony will be away from public glare. These reports are, however, not confirmed.

It is also being said that the couple have bought a house in Chennai and will move into it after their wedding, reports suggest. Actor Vikram's daughter Akshita got married to DMK chief M Karunanidhi's great grandson Manu Ranjith on Monday. The low-key wedding ceremony was conducted at Karunanidhi's Chennai residence while a lavish reception for the newly-weds has been planned for October 31. Akshita's family shared pictures of the bride and the groom seeking blessings from the 94-year-old leader, who is confined to his home over the last one year following respiratory illness. Last year Karunanidhi had presided over the couple's engagement as well.
