    maavu kolam with colours added

    How is mavu kolam with colours added prepared retaining the brightness of the colour ?

    I got to know that adding fevicol gives matte finish & glue gives glossy look. Both prevent it from becoming flaky. With normal rangoli powder , however the colour becomes dull when dry. How does one retain its brightness?
