    My oh my!!!! What lovely kites you have in Indonesia.

    As children, I remember our days on the terrace during Makar Sankrant when my brother (a very good kite-flyer) would fly the kite and direct it with the string (maanja.....kite-flying string coated with glass powder) and I would be holding the reel.We would spend hours together in kite-fight sessions hoping to cut many a kites in air!!! Thanks for bringing that lovely memeory back to my mind with your post....
