hi sis...
I am litting lemon lamps on Fridays my doubt is...
I ve to lit in Raghu kalam alone?
how much lemons I ve to use for making garland(min to max)?
other than this any other that I can make the mother happy?
I wish to lit lemon lamps life long...is it correct?is there any limitations?

Hello Shivagami,

Yes, the lemon lamps are to be lighted ideally during Rahu KALAM , but if you are not able to perform at that particular time, you can always light them at other times on Friday. If not Friday, you can do on Tuesdays or Sundays too.
If you want to make a lemon garland, odd numbers like 9,18,27,54,108 are ideal, depending on your the height of the idol and also your circumstances. Yes, you can light them your whole life, no restrictions.
Other ways to please Goddess Durga is to offer prasadam eg sweet rice mixed with ghee (a favourite of Goddess Durga) and red flowers during pooja.
