Kidney Dilation At 28 Weeks

    Hello all

    I am 28 weeks pregnant with baby boy. we got to know that one of his kidney is dilated and the other kidney is normal. I would like to know if anyone is going through the same thing and what are the outcomes? right now at 28 week scan his left kidney is still dilated on the worse side. since the other kidney is normal, Doctor says there is no health issue to the baby? would it be alright when he is born?

    Hi Nivilovely,

    First of all hugs to you, have Faith that your baby is going to be alright! Talk to your baby that he is going to be fine. Don't worry, just be informed, take necessary care and enjoy your pregnancy.

    I'm sure you would have looked up and read lots of info by now on 'Renal pelvis dilation'. Still nothing like getting first hand info, correct?
