I want a major help from all of the moms who stay alone with their kids taking care of them. What do you do to keep your kids busy through the day. Most of the time my kid after watching and playing for sometime comes to me and sits. What shall we do on this? or share your experience on how you keep them busy. thanks for any input.

1.Most libraries have summer reading program and they give incentives for readinga certain length of time each day.
2.Movie theatres give some discount tickets for certain children's movies during summer
3.You can teach to read and write the language that you speak at home
4.Schools have lessons for certain musical instruments and band over summer.
    5. Learn a new craft

Depending on the age of your children there may be more activities.

    HI LADIES,
Well what u can do for a 30 month kid is to start
1.showing him the atlas and just pointing to countries and saying their names...like take a continent at a time and just keep pointing to the countries and saying their names...the child will follow.
    2. u cna also show small words in a flash card and say it aloud to him so that he can recognize the word.
3.u can read small books to him...
4.play a lot of mind games...
5.u can also show him some veggies and tell him to point to the right veges...he will learn quickly...

6.or just play "I spy" with the thing around the room...
    tell him to draw also...
try it out...it will be fun.

    cheers,
    Uma:2thumbsup:
