Dear Padma, No we din't go to delhi darbar because few more indians (4 ppl) came to china on sat. So we were busy helping them shopping the basic stuff and taking around the place. But, i got my mixer yesterday:biggrin2:, got the media one it costed us 169RMB has two jars one for juice and the other one for masala and all. im quite happy about it. Finally i can enjoy some good food in China. Padma, wanted to ask you one thing... can i grind coconut and dosa batter in this mixer? it looks very delicate i am scared it will breakdown. let me know if you have tried it. Zainab,
Zainab, i know this one which u have bought. I never used this one. I used same brand but bigger one price may be aroung 300-500 in between. Ok you do one thing to grind coconut first grate it. For grinding for dosa put lil amount like one teacup not more than that. It will not be broken. If u put more amount and it is not grinding stop immediately. sometimes uu can find smoke but dont worry discoonect and try smaller amount after half an hour. Dont be sad.. u know i bought same brand with more attachemts.. i grind dried chana dal to make besan as i didnt had besan that moment. After few days i tried to grind our indian dry dates, i saw smoke coming out.. i was so scared but after half an hour i tried it and it was okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk... anyways this is our second mixer.. first we bought onlim but it will not grind a smooth paste for dosa and idli..
